Specifically designed to accommodate the Euro 3.4 and 5 plus the 65, 75 and 85 variants, Hatcher Components’ new air management kit for 4.6 metre trailers successfully extends DAF CF High Roof cabs.<\/p>
Through providing adjustable heights of between 4.2 and 4.6 metres this new kit combines a flexible and cost effective with the benefit of aerodynamic design. <\/p>
For ease of application, the base is mounted to the high roof extension using the existing cab fixing holes. The side collars are fixed and applied to both sides of the vehicle.
As with most of the comprehensive range supplied by Hatchers, this Double Deck extension is moulded in DAF white or any specified colour to avoid the need for painting.
This new kit is supplied direct to body-builders or dealers and can also be supplied and fitted at Hatcher Components.<\/p>"

Hatcher Components introduces new Ford Transit Air Management Kit<\/p>
New to Hatcher Components' comprehensive range of air management products for commercial vehicles is the Ford Transit air management system.<\/p>
Designed exclusively to enhance the aerodynamics of Box-Van and Curtain Sider applications, the new kit is moulded in Ford white or any specified colour to avoid the need for painting.<\/p>
Available with or without side-collars, the new air management kit self-locates onto the vehicle roof and cab sides where it is bonded - thus eliminating water ingress and corrosion of the cab.<\/p>
With the benefit of aerodynamic design, this new kit is supplied direct to body-builders or dealers and saves costs and time by reducing the vehicles drag co-efficient in transit and subsequently fuel consumption.<\/p>

Hatcher Components launch Sky Cab<\/p>
Following market demand, Hatcher Components have launched a new sleeper cab.<\/p>
Exclusively designed and produced in Suffolk, the new DAF LF Sky Cab provides a sleeper cab option and is ideal for two or three man operations. The cab is available in two different configurations; either a single bunk or a twin bunk. The sleeper cab conversion has been developed to update and improve the existing DAF LF Sleeper conversion as designer, David Wright explains:<\/p>
“The Sky Cab offers a 10% increase in capacity thus allowing more sleeping and storage space. We have also improved the comfort level of the cab through the incorporation of a sprung mattress and an upgraded interior with insulated lining panels and matching bedding.”<\/p>
The exterior of the cab has been updated and restyled to improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics and bring the aesthetics in line with the other conversion products in the DAF range of accessories.<\/p>
The exterior is finished in DAF white or, at an additional cost, other colours can be provided.<\/p>

Mercedes Benz Sprints ahead with new Air Management kit <\/p>
Hatcher Components has introduced a new air management kit exclusively designed for the whole Mercedes Benz Sprinter range, including the Deepsleeper. <\/p>
Featuring various extensions to accommodate box-width and cab-width – with or without side collars, the aerodynamic benefits of the new kit apply throughout a range of vehicle dimensions; with or without side streamers.<\/p>
In addition to the benefits of aerodynamic design, this new kit is bonded to the vehicle - thus eliminating water ingress and corrosion of the cab.<\/p>

Hatcher develops bulkhead mounted sleeper compartment<\/p>
Following the introduction of European Council Regulation replacement (EC) No’ 561/2006 concerning satisfactory sleeping facilities in commercial vehicles, Hatcher Components has launched its new sleeping compartment, especially designed for the light commercial sector.<\/p>
As well as leaving carrying capacity unaffected, the sleeping compartment is likely to prove popular with LCV operators taking occasional longer journeys or trips to the continent. <\/p>
The self-contained kit has been developed initially for overnight accommodation in the Ford Transit and the Mercedes Sprinter High Roof panel vans. During the day, normal delivery operations can take place with the kit folded up and out of the way. At night, it can be lowered over a ‘euro pallet’ without the need to enter the rear of the vehicle.<\/p>
“Our bulkhead mounted sleeping compartments are simple to operate and can transform the capabilities of any commercial light vehicle,” explains Brian Getley, Managing Director. “Recognising that a driver’s cab is essentially his office space, and that there is a legal requirement for employers to address commercial vehicle driver safety in the workplace, this quick and inexpensive product turns most standard panel vans into sleeper cabs within minutes.”<\/p>

Hatcher introduces ‘Freddie’ Air Management Kit for the Mercedes-Benz Axor<\/p>
<\/p>
Hatcher Components has developed a scientifically proven new Air Management Kit for the Mercedes-Benz Axor. <\/p>
Working in conjunction with Cranfield University and Mercedes Benz-UK, the company has carried out detailed testing to show how, after application of the kit, fuel consumption improves by 6% over factory fitted equipment, when driving at a constant 56mph. <\/p>
Designed using a combination of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and wind tunnel testing, the kit provides a fixed spoiler, forward opening side collars and cab sides.<\/p>
